A Startling Realization - Phoenix, AZ - 1716 Miles

We spent two nights in Phoenix on the way to San Diego. One just to break up the trip and one for Terry to spend a ten-hour day working while I do laundry. (Sounds fair to me.) To break up the day we visited a nearby mall just to walk around a bit. We passed a Victoria's Secret and I glanced through the windows to check the latest fashions. Then I saw it and exclaimed,"Oh look! Free Godiva chocolates with a $60 purchase!" Even before I finished the statement I realized I had reached a pretty sorry state when I look into a Victoria's Secret and the most exciting thing is an offer for free chocolate.
